Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting 2023
Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting of Minting and Gautby held on 10th May 2023 at Minting village hall at 7.30pm.
Approximately 18 residents attended.
The meeting began with a talk and practical demonstrations by a LIVES volunteer on techniques of cardiac pulmonary resuscitation [ CPR] and the use of defibrillators. Residents took part in CPR exercises, and it was agreed that it had been a very worthwhile tutorial.

Parish council.
The PC chairman briefly described the council’s work, particularly the improvements to parish infrastructure during the year.
Gautby church and village hall.
Hugh Sutton reported. The quinquennial inspection of the church fabric was done during the year. Unfortunately, follows some thefts, the churchwardens had to make the decision to restrict access.
The village hall was now being used more since the renovation. More maintenance work was being undertaken.
Minting village hall.
Vicki Brown reported. The hall had had a satisfactory year for bookings, the Classic Motor Show being the principal event.
Minting and District Gardening Club.
Anne Clark described the year’s activities, with a variety of speakers at the monthly meetings.
The meeting closed at 9.00pm.
